Photoshop Tut #1- Dusty
Note: Choose a high-quality photo. The better the clarity, the easier it will be to edit the photo. You will also have a lot more options as well as a better result. It does not necessarily have to be B&W. It could be colorful, and you can experiment with different textures. I just preferred it black and white.

15 Weekend Links; Hair, Food, Recipes, Style, Photography
Happy Saturday! While I will be watching, re-watching, memorizing line for line my favorite episodes of Girlfriends, I thought you could use some fun from around the world. Or simply the internet. Let's go!
Lesson
I really messed up. I've hurt a person who deserved to be loved instead and I've spent a year trying to fix it. (It's actually even more than a year. But who's counting?) In reality, I know that I have made a crucial mistake and that is immoral and has left a lasting impression on both that person and myself.
Though I have apologized profusely, there seems to be no middle path he and I can take. He is upset. I am upset, and pride gets in the way. It has been a year since we really spoke and when we met up to simply resolve any bruised feelings left, it was a really heavy encounter.
It served as a lesson to me: I can only beat myself up for so long before I stop and focus on me. That sounds selfish, but every person has his or her extent that she or he can go. (I'm not even saying 'willing'. 'Can' is much more powerful.) I was willing to go forever, but I could only wallow for so long. A whole-hearted apology, (or 3 in my case), a polite conversation, and full surrender of openly and strongly expressing my mind later I understood that the best I can do with my life is move on.
I know, this has been the most ambiguous post I've ever made, but it should serve less of a story and more of a lesson. I as a person will make mistakes. I have. The best I can do, is to fix them to the best of my ability, going out of my way even. However, after some time (or a lot of it), I must succumb to the reality that some things cannot be changed. It's best to simply learn from my mistakes rather than dwell on them.
Love yourself. Learn from your mistakes. Move on.

4 Great Food Blogs, 7 Easy, Delicious Recipes
P.S. (SIDE NOTE) I like to make these types of posts to show that a person doesn't need expensive tools ($50 cooking books, expensive skillets, illegally acquired truffles. . . ) to make an amazing meal. Moreover, this is a deeper lesson; if you seek, you shall find. If anyone needs help finding any resources, I'd be glad to help.

5 Things I Learned on Week 1
1. I must literally work my a** off.
With hot weather come frequent visits to the beach. With those, comes the satisfaction of girls running around in small pieces of fabric with cameras flashing everywhere. I saw my photos. Didn't like them. At all. I resumed my membership at the gym and started to pay much more attention to cardio. Before, I would ignore it mostly since I'm not crazy about the idea of huffing, puffing, sweating, and jogging for 20 minutes straight as well as having my face radiate heat equating to nothing less than solar power itself. Did I mention I turn beat red? Yeah , you try flirting with hot guys at the gym when your face resembles the inside of a grapefruit. But back to cardio- I'm bad at it. Fortunately, after the first week and a couple miles on the elliptical, along with some sick beats and a good boxing match on ESPN, I managed to actually run a mile on a treadmill. (Inner applause). I now record my data down and have run 6 miles total this week. (More than I ever have...or wanted to.) I found several home workout websites, videos and helpful sources such as:

10:00 am Visit to the Park
I decided to go to the park. Sure, it was 10 in the morning, and raining, and the park looked eerie but it was honestly a really great experience. I had some G-Eazy blasting the entire time on my iPod as well as other Hip-Hop mixed in with retro, vintage beats.

3 things
I am starting a new blog "playlist" of all the interesting and fun things I find online. I constantly find amazing, useful, entertaining, or just boredom-destroying tools that I wish the entire world knew more about. I do need a cool name for that though, so if you have any names other than "Cool Stuff I Found Online", feel free to leave a comment. So, without further adeue, let's go!
1. I am in love. Seriously. I have never seen such beautiful photography before. What makes these landscapes special is that they make me want to get into photography (much more in depth than just shooting a couple shots of drunk college kids haha) Please, show this man some love! 01/12/2012-Photo Per Day
The weather was, fascinating outside. It was misty, but dry and the fog was enchanting. If I lived closer to a city, I would have been probably just standing outside on some hill and starring at it.
Other than that, I've been noticing that I don't do very much with my life...so, cheers!

01/06/2012-Photo Per Day #1
Just one of those fantastically lit mornings.
Clearly, my mornings are not really that glamorous.
We cannot all be perfect, can we?
Le friends.
Wise words of the day:
"It's annoying when fat people say that obesity runs in their family. Let's get real..clearly nothing runs in your family."
Today is an overachiever day for me. I've got FOUR pictures Ha HA! (This will only happen so often). Soon I will become lazy, tired, obese, wait what?
Not too long ago, MTV announced 11 Artists to Watch in the Year 2012. I clearly agree with their nomination for Fun. and Avicii. I haven't heard of a lot of other artists, but MTV made it one step easier-several videos from each artist are posted on the bottom of the post. I strongly suggest you take a look; maybe you will find a new favorite artist?
